I confront themes of isolation, abandonment, destruction and resilience by drawing from personal experience and an emotional reaction to the environment. Pop-inspired stormy panoramas littered with abandoned barns, highways slicing through fields and looming gas stations are common subject matter. Through a mix of mediums including spray enamel, resin and photography I explore the complexities of the American landscape. My work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions around the Bay Area and Art Fairs across the United States.
Originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida I completed my Bachelor’s degree in print making and film in 1995 at the San Francisco Art Institute. I currently live in San Francisco, California working as a freelance graphic designer and taking color photographs with a 6X9 film camera.
